About The Event

Join the Cannon River Watershed Joint Powers Organization as they host the fifth session of the virtual learning series Land to Lake Lectures. The flooding of 2024 greatly impacted many residents in the Cannon River Watershed. Roberta Cronquist from Bolton & Menk and Holly Bushman from Le Sueur County Environmental Services will share information about a special flood study in the watershed and how it may impact flood mitigation in the future. This series is offered in collaboration with the University of Minnesota-Extension.


The free webinar will be held on Tuesday, February 25, at 12:00 pm over the lunch hour. Register for the webinar at https://z.umn.edu/ReducingFlooding. The webinar will be video recorded and posted on the CRWJPO’s website at https://www.cannonriverwatershedmn.gov afterward for those who cannot attend.
